After overcoming struggles with her early diagnosis and actions, the author goes on to share how her faith in Jesus Christ is foundational to her health. She gives twelve ways that people can prepare to receive guidance from the Holy Ghost, four ways that Satan interacts with people, two ways that people can counteract the evil influences of Satan, and seven tips for dealing with a mental illness. This book is a revised second edition with a special bonus section called "Working with the Spirit."
Rebecca C. Jones was born and raised in Utah. She had a difficult childhood, which predisposed her to develop schizophrenia in her later life. Her many siblings are now some of her best friends. She is the mother of two sons, who have brought much joy into her life. She earned a bachelor's degree in Child Development and Family Relationships at Brigham Young University. Later in life, she earned a master's degree in Management and Leadership at Western Governors University. She enjoys cross-stitching and visiting her children and grandchildren.
