About Larissa Theule:
Larissa Theule is the author of fiction and nonfiction books for children, including Concrete: From the Ground Up, illustrated by Steve Light, Kafka and the Doll, illustrated by Rebecca Green, and A Way With Wild Things, illustrated by Sara Palacios. Her work has been recognized by The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Bologna Children's Book Fair, American Library Association, and more. She holds a Masters in Education and an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults. Having lived abroad much of her life, Theule now lives in Southern California with her family and rescue dog, Luna.
